This outstanding, serpentine American oak antique dresser was made around 1900. Notice all of the detailed carving and bead-work at the top of the mirror. We stained the wood Dark Walnut which gave the quarter-sawn oak a medium-dark, warm, rich color. The drawers were re-built to work around the sink and plumbing. We finished inside the drawers also. The wood was treated with a number of products, resulting in a very fine finish which is water-resistant. It will withstand bathroom moisture well. The beveled mirror is original and was re-silvered. We installed a large, white Kohler 2179-8-0 sink and a Price Pfister Tuscan Bronze faucet. The faucet can be exchanged or removed if you know of something else you would rather use. The price includes everything, the antique vanity- refurbished, the sink and the faucet.
